Student Life

BSOP is located in Karuhatan, Valenzuela City, at the northern-most edge of Metro Manila. It is far enough from the city to provide a spacious and quiet environment, conductive to study and reflection, yet close enough to allow students and faculty to minister citywide. Shade trees and quiet walking paths make the one hectare campus an ideal place for study and retreat.

Students are trained to share their daily lives together as a Christian community through study, fellowship, and prayer, to enable its students to develop a Christian lifestyle befitting their calling as God’s servants. BSOP students help to clean and maintain their living facilities. The community setting allows close guidance of students’ personal growth, with special attention provided by the Dean of Students. The “care and share” group allows faculty members and students to interact at a deeper level through weekly times of prayer, fellowship, and mutual exhortation.

Men’s and women’s dormitories house single students. There are also separate apartments for married couples and families. Many of the faculty live on campus and regularly join students for meals and group activities. Facilities include an audio-visual room with video equipment, a chapel, a basketball court, nursery facilities, function rooms, a spacious social/dining hall, and music practice rooms.

The faculty and students of BSOP live together as a community. They take their meals together in the dining hall. Nutritious and well-balanced meals are prepared under the supervision of the Food Committee.
